The strategic goals of our organization are the support in the development of new leaders, their promotion and the increasement of their participation in the creation and implementation of policies related to children and youth, as well as the development of services and programs for children and youth and the improvement of organizational capacities for the provision of services and the implementation of programs.<\/p>\n

In this regard, we are continuously working on establishing and improving the functionality of an informal group of children and young people that operates within our organization. We are also working on the development of a program for the informal youth group\u2019s functioning, which follow the needs of children and youth.<\/p>\n

Listening to the needs of children and young people in the wider community. In cooperation with our partners, we strive to offer them programs (trainings, workshops…) that will help them develop their capacities, improve existing ones and acquire new knowledge and skills. In addition, we want their voice to be heard and, at the same time, provide them space to freely speak up about issues that they consider important.<\/p>\n

We have supported many initiatives started by children and young people, as well as several cycles of peer mediation programs, so far. In recent years, we have focused on youth programs aimed at the development of media literacy and critical thinking, advocacy skills and social entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n

The analysis of the situation on the position of children and youth is one of the conditions for improving the quality of life and opportunities for the development of their potential. Imaju\u0107i to u vidu, na\u0161a organizacija te\u017ei izgradnji sistema za analizu, izve\u0161tavanje i monitoring o stanju dece i mladih i njihovih potreba.<\/p>\n

Svrha jednog takvog sistema jeste pru\u017eanje kvalitetnih i pouzdanih podataka svim relevantnih akterima koji \u0107e im biti od pomo\u0107i pri dono\u0161enju odluka, odnosno kreiranju politika koje se odnose na unapre\u0111enje polo\u017eaja dece i mladih.<\/p>\n

Proces analize situacije o stanju dece i mladih je participativan u cilju prikupljanja \u0161to kvalitetnijih podataka i kreiranja funkcionalnih javnih politika. Ovakav proces Domovik je zapo\u010deo tokom 2020, a oblasti koje pokriva su lokalno upravljanje, obrazovanje i vaspitanje, socijalna i zdravstvena za\u0161tita i maloletni\u010dko pravosu\u0111e.<\/p>\n
