The strategic goals of our organization are the support in the development of new leaders, their promotion and the increasement of their participation in the creation and implementation of policies related to children and youth, as well as the development of services and programs for children and youth and the improvement of organizational capacities for the provision of services and the implementation of programs.
In this regard, we are continuously working on establishing and improving the functionality of an informal group of children and young people that operates within our organization. We are also working on the development of a program for the informal youth group’s functioning, which follow the needs of children and youth.
Listening to the needs of children and young people in the wider community. In cooperation with our partners, we strive to offer them programs (trainings, workshops…) that will help them develop their capacities, improve existing ones and acquire new knowledge and skills. In addition, we want their voice to be heard and, at the same time, provide them space to freely speak up about issues that they consider important.
We have supported many initiatives started by children and young people, as well as several cycles of peer mediation programs, so far. In recent years, we have focused on youth programs aimed at the development of media literacy and critical thinking, advocacy skills and social entrepreneurship.
