Domovik is working on the protection and promotion of children’s rights and its operation is based on the establishment of institutional cooperation with local authorities and public services, i.e. the development of mechanisms for the improvement of children’s rights at the local level, as well as networking with civil society organizations dealing with children and youth issues.
One of the models of cooperation established by our organization during 2021 is the Forum on the rights of the child, which brings together representatives of local and educational institutions, civil society organizations, international organizations and youth clubs to exchange opinions and talk about improving the position of children and youth.
In addition to strengthening the capacities of its staff, Domovik strives to offer programs that include the development of the capacities of employees in institutions and services dealing with children and youth, as well as the empowerment of other civil society organizations.
Domovik is working on establishing a multisectoral coordination team to improve the position of children and young people in municipalities in northern Kosovo. With this team Domovik will work on analysing, reporting and monitoring the position of children and youth and strongly act in the field of promoting their rights.
