In that sense, the Annual Work Program for 2021, as integral part of the Strategic Plan 2019-2023 continues to operationalize the mission of Domovik.
Developing an instrument for data collection and analysis is one of the priorities under the Annual Work Program for 2021. This work package aiming to meet the real needs of children and youth and support them. The data collected will be used to create the first comprehensive report on children and youth status in northern Kosovo, to develop a model for monitoring the progress of child rights implementation and policies regarding children and youth status.
The focus is on improving cooperation with local public entities and CSOs working with children and youth in order to increase overall joint capacities and mechanisms to respond to potential challenges in protecting and advocating for child rights.
Support to and expansion of Domovik’s youth club is also one of the priorities for 2021. Capacity building of youth will be achieved through networking with other youth clubs in Kosovo and the region, creating their joint initiatives and developing media contents that will enable their voice to be heard.
Capacity, transparency, and accountability of Domovik is the work package that will centre on enhancing the capacity of the entire organization to lead changes in the system for children and youth development in the north. This will entail improvement of the organizational set-up and structure of Domovik, its staff, as well as focused and tailor-made capacity building measures.
